My first born Tanisha , a thorough introvert , has always been reluctant about opening herself to new experiences. As she entered her teenage years she was even more private. In her teens as she was becoming she did not clearly express what she wanted to opt for in her career. So my husband and I wanted her to go through the career counselling from Strides. Tanisha commits to something only when she is comfortable and when it’s deeply connected . She went to Ms Rennie Rao and she must have felt safe to be herself and let herself be. Tanisha telling me that ‘ I like her mama’ meant that she was in experienced hands , who knew how to handle her and  she agreed to the test with Strides. The instructions for the test was clear allowing Tanisha to bring out her real self. Then came the counselling session. Tanisha was nervous but equally excited.
